Week 23 – The Master Key Experience

As a follow-up to our webinar last week, I wanted to share with you a book that I highly recommend.  This book is titled, “The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success,” by Deepak Chopra.  I read this book several years ago and I’m reading it again now.  The first law is the Law of Pure Potentiality.  The law states that if you want to make full use of the creativity which is inherent in pure consciousness, then you have to access it.

How do you access it?  Ge outside and enjoy nature.  This is one way to do it.  Spending time in nature will give you access to the qualities inherent in the field:  infinite creativity, freedom and bliss (as stated by Chopra).

Another way to access it is through the daily practice of silence, meditation and non-judgement, which we’ve talked about a lot in this course.

This first chapter in itself is a great chapter to read several times so that you can understand the importance of this law.  It is interesting how this course and the concepts of this book overlap in a number of ways.  As  I read this book a second time, it takes on a lot more meaning.

Something as simple as spending time in silence each day can make a tremendous difference in your life.  I have to admit I don’t do this every day, however, my promise to myself is to keep this book visible from now on so that I don’t forget!  Chopra actually recommends one hour per day.  Plan to maintain silence for at least 15 minutes per day (as recommended in the Master Key Course) and you will surely reap the benefits as Chopra describes.

Week 22 – The Master Key Experience

Today will be a short post on how you can increase your PRODUCTIVITY.  This is similar to the Franklin Covey model but adds a few things that I really like.  Let me know you thoughts …

Make sure to block out time for 5 minutes in the morning and 5 minutes at night.

The night before write down all your tasks for the next days.  Rank your 5 most important and determine how much time you will spend on each.

Schedule them in your day planner and start with the most important.

The next day make sure you do at least one thing to drive your business forward, no matter what.

Gratitude for each day is important so make sure when you wake up to write down at least 3 things you are grateful for today.

This is a simple routine that I plan on following myself.  I do something similar but I don’t always spend enough time the night before planning.  This is a system that if done consistently will allow you to get done in one day more than you ever have before!

Good luck … try it and I believe you may be surprised.
